A three car pileup at a busy intersection knocked out the traffic lights and created some traffic backups Wednesday afternoon.
The crash took place just after 1 p.m. at the corner of Golf Links and Oliver Roads.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say two pick-up trucks and a minivan were involved in the collision, and one of the vehicles struck the traffic light pole, which caused the pole to crash onto the street.
The intersection was without lights for most of the afternoon as a result.
There were no serious injuries reported, but a 24-year-old woman has been charged for failing to stop for a red light.
