City police confirmed that a body was discovered behind a Memorial Avenue bank Friday.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called to the scene behind the TD Canada Trust bank on Memorial Avenue just before 11 a.m. after a citizen spotted the body of an unidentified man.
Det. Const. Ian West confirmed that the city police were assisting the coroner with an investigation. Police have since confirmed that the man died from natural causes.
The identity will not be made public until police have notified next of kin.
