THUNDER BAY -- Police have revealed the identity of a body found on the Kaministiquia River Tuesday.

Following a post-mortem examination, officials with the Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP say the man discovered in the river near a bridge on Highway 102 is that of Terry Wilen, 56, of Thunder Bay.

Wilen is also the missing boater search crews began looking for in June while boating on the Kam River in the area of Forbes River Road and Silver Falls Road.

"There were a couple of individuals who were fishing in the area and they came across the human remains in the river and called the police," OPP Staff Sgt. James Graham said Wednesday, before the man’s identity was known.
