THUNDER BAY – Police have recovered a man’s body from the Kaministiquia River.

On Tuesday morning Thunder Bay Police Service confirmed that divers with the city’s force and the OPP’s underwater search and recovery unit had recovered just before 10:30 a.m. Monday.

A man in his mid-30s had not surfaced after jumping 200 feet into the river from the top of a grain elevator.
