Body of missing Geraldton man recovered

A missing Geraldton man has been found dead. OPP say the body of 32-year-old Erik Legarde, who had not been seen since Sunday morning, was located at about 11 a.m. on Thursday on a bush trail by their emergency response team.

A missing Geraldton man has been found dead.

OPP say the body of 32-year-old Erik Legarde, who had not been seen since Sunday morning, was located at about 11 a.m. on Thursday on a bush trail by their emergency response team. A post-mortem is expected to be conducted over the next few days.

OPP is asking anyone with information about the death to contact their communications centre at 1-888-310-3122.

Police have not said whether the death is suspicious or not.
