Body of missing man recovered from area lake

The body of a Minnesota man that had been missing for almost a month has been recovered. Fred Bisel, 68, was on a snowmobile with friend in the area of Goose Neck Narrows on Lake of the Woods. Bisel broke through the ice.

The body of a Minnesota man that had been missing for almost a month has been recovered.

Fred Bisel, 68, was on a snowmobile with friend in the area of Goose Neck Narrows on Lake of the Woods. Bisel broke through the ice.

Poor weather prevented OPP officers from conducting an immediate search.

The body was recovered Sunday afternoon in the general area where he went through the ice, police said.
