Bomb threat closes high school

Board sends students home for the day after email threat to St. Patrick High School received.

THUNDER BAY – A bomb threat leveled at St. Patrick High School was serious enough to convince officials to close the south-side school for the day.

Thunder Bay Police say an email threat was received overnight, adding they are investigating the threat.

Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board officials evacuated students and made the decision to shut down the school to students and staff.
