THUNDER BAY – A quick trip to Ryden’s for gas and lottery tickets won’t be allowed for at least another month.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday confirmed that the border with the United States will remain closed to all non-essential traffic until June 21. It’s been closed since mid-March, the two countries attempting to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Tuesday’s extension announcement adds an additional 30 days to the existing agreement.
