Break-in suspect sought by police

Incident, caught on surveillance, took place on April 20 at the Salsbury Grill Restaurant.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are looking to the public to help identify a break-and-enter suspect wanted in an incident that took place last month.

In a release issued on Friday afternoon, police say officers were called to the Salsbury Grill Restaurant on West Frederica Street, just before 11 p.m. on April 20.

Investigators learned a male suspect had been inside the business, but fled behind the pharmacy across the street.

They later learned the suspect had gained entrance to the restaurant by damaging a window near an entrance.

Video surveillance caught the suspect on camera and police are distributing stills of the incident in hopes the man can be identified.

Anyone with any information that could assist investigators please call police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.p3tips.com.
