THUNDER BAY -- Fans of craft beers are apparently on the rise in Thunder Bay.
Within minutes after it was announced on Facebook, tickets to BrewHa's upcoming Winterlude festival sold out.
It happened so fast in fact, it even shocked the organizers.
Brewha Winterlude was scheduled as a one-time session for 50 people, to do some seasonal craft beer tasting. Within 20 minutes of that announcement, tickets were sold out.
That forced organizers to schedule a second session, which then sold out in 40 minutes. BrewHa Co-chair, Jon Hendel said they wanted to host an event to keep craft beer fans engaged this winter.
The BrewHa Winterlude Sampler event will be held on Jan. 6 and 12 at the Breakwater Taphouse.
