Repairs are underway at Lakehead University following a break in an underground water line that serves the William H. Buset Music and Visual Arts Centre.

The rupture occurred over the weekend and has forced the closure of the building and the relocation of classes.

Traffic is also disrupted, as the stretch of the Agora Circle road from in front of the building to the ATAC building is blocked off to facilitate repairs.

Short-term parking meters in front of the School of Nursing are temporarily unavailable as a result.

The section of the Agora Circle that provides access to the university's main entrance remains open.
