A bus carrying at least a dozen children flipped onto its side on Harstone Road in Oliver-Paipoonge Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place just after 4 p.m. It is unclear at this time what caused the single-vehicle crash, although police have laid careless driving charges against the driver, who they did not name.
Fire crews and paramedics rushed to the scene to treat the children and driver for any possible injuries.
At this time, no serious injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
The mother of a 9-year-old girl said her daughter was being checked for possible head injuries.
