Cab driver held up at knife point in attempted robbery: Police

The city's police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a cab driver early Wednesday morning.

THUNDER BAY – Police are looking for a man who pulled a knife on a cab driver in the city’s north end Wednesday morning.

Shortly after 2 a.m., a local cab driver picked up a man on Vickers Street and began driving him to Port Arthur.

Along the way, the man pulled a knife on the driver on north Cumberland Street and demanded money, he then fled on foot near the Modern Motel.

There were no reported injuries.

The man was described as native Canadian, tall, skinny and dressed in all dark clothes.
