THUNDER BAY – The Parking Authority announced on Tuesday that, effective immediately, Calendar Parking regulations are waived.
Based on the warm weather predicted in the short-range forecast the decision was made to end Calendar Parking restrictions as of Tuesday.
We remind motorists that some streets may still have snowbanks and to be cautious when parking to ensure there is enough space for emergency vehicle access.
In consultation with the General Manager of the Infrastructure & Operations, the Parking Authority may waive enforcement of Calendar Parking at any time after March 1, if forecasted weather and road conditions warrant.
