The Cambrian Improv Club is bringing a improvisation, comedy and storytelling camp to Thunder Bay just in time for March Break.

Well-known improv phenom Peter Stevens, who has performed with The Second City and is a member of the award-winning comedy troupe Elephant Empire, has been hired to teach the classes.

There will be five two-hour day camps for teens, starting Monday, March 14, and three evening beginner classes for adults starting March 16.

“Stevens has coached, taught, mentored and judged for the Canadian Improv Games, working with hundreds of students over the last 10 years,”?said?Cambrian’s Sean Jesseau.

“As a performer Peter holds a record for 14 consecutive solo victories at the Friendly Improv Comedy Death Match at the Comedy Bar in Toronto. It is no exaggeration to say he is hysterically funny.”?

There will also be a five-day Ultimate Rock Camp offered.
