A local charity took time out Sunday to celebrate its 10th year in Northwestern Ontario.
About 150 campers and their families, as well as volunteers and guests, attended this evening's Camp Quality 10th Anniversary Celebration at the Port Arthur Prosvita.
For the past decade, Camp Quality has helped lift the spirits of Northwestern Ontario children suffering from cancer through its summer camp retreats and year-round family support programs.
Spokeswoman Clara Butikofer has seen firsthand the difference Camp Quality can make in a child's life.
Butikofer added that Camp Quality is always searching for new volunteers.
