It's been two weeks since the province announced it would step up to save the Experimental Lakes Area.
But according to MPP Sarah Campbell (NDP, Kenora-Rainy River), there's been very little progress made to get it reopened.
On Wednesday at Queen's Park, Campbell questioned the government's urgency to keep the facilities operational this year.
She cited an article in the Globe and Mail that says scientists have not been allowed back to the site yet.
Campbell adds that people who fought long and hard to preserve the ELA need real action to ensure the site will remain open.
