SIOUX LOOKOUT — A bail hearing that had been scheduled for Adam Capay in Sioux Lookout last Friday has been moved back to later in June.
After an incident at a local residence in late May, the Lac Seul Police Service charged Capay with two counts of assault, break and enter, overcoming resistance to the commission of an offence, and failure to comply with a recognizance.
Capay's lengthy stay in solitary confinement at the Thunder Bay District Jail ultimately led to his release and the staying of a first-degree murder charge last January.
He is now scheduled for a bail hearing on June 21.
Last March, he was charged in Sioux Lookout with sexual assault with a weapon.
None of the charges against Capay have been proven in court.
