Investigators say a serious house fire in Westfort will likely remain a mystery forever.
The blaze broke out Tuesday evening in the 900 block of Home Avenue. Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue fire investigator Eric Nordlund says they've been able to pinpoint the origin of the fire in the attic area.
But the exact cause will have to remain undetermined. He adds there is nothing suspicious about the fire.
No one was hurt in the blaze, but total damages are estimated at about $100,000.
