The cause of that massive fire in Oliver Paipoonge Tuesday night may forever remain a mystery, as investigators say the damage is too extensive to determine the point of ignition.
The fire leveled the main building at Boyer Truck Sales on West Arthur Street, and also destroyed numerous transport trucks inside it.
The fire broke out at around 9 p.m. Tuesday, and Oliver Paipoonge volunteer fire crews were unable to stop the fire from burning out of control.
Fire Chief Mike Horan said after speaking with the Ontario Fire Marshal's office, they've decided not to bring in an investigator because there's very little evidence left to look at.
As a result, the cause of the fire will remain undetermined.
There's no estimate on the damages, but Horan said the company did have fire insurance.
