THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce is leading a trade mission to the Osoyoos First Nation in British Columbia.

The chamber and a dozen local business and First Nation representatives are taking part in the two-day trip next week..
The chamber approached Osoyoos Chief Clarence Louie after he came to Thunder Bay in June for the APEX Aboriginal Partnership Exchange conference. The goal is to learn about the nine successful business developments on his B.C .reserve.

Chamber president Charla Robinson said the hope is the trip will be inspirational, by giving regional First Nations ideas on how to prosper.

The two-day visit will take place on Nov. 25 and 26.
