Charge laid in death of 15-year-old girl

BIG GRASSY FIRST NATION, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police and the Treaty Three Police Service have announced the arrest of a man in connection with the death of a 15-year-old girl.

The body of Autumn Andy of Mishkosiminiziibiing (Big Grassy) First Nation was found June 13 behind the community's outdoor skating rink.

Police have arrested 24-year-old Darrell Tuesday, also from Big Grassy, on a charge of first degree murder.

Tuesday was remanded in custody for a court appearance in Fort Frances on June 25.

Mishkosiminiziibiing is about 125 kilometres northwest of Fort Frances.
