Charity basketball in support of the annual Stuff a Cruiser

Charity basketball event in support of the annual Stuff a Cruiser will take place on Dec. 6.

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – This year’s annual Stuff-A-Cruiser event will get an early start on the basketball court.

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service are set to take on the St. Ignatius Falcons Senior Girls Basketball team in a charity exhibition game on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

The game takes place at the St. Ignatius gymnasium at 6:30 p.m.

The price of admission is non-perishable food items or cash, which will be donated to the Regional Food Distribution Association through the annual Stuff-A-Cruiser campaign.

Meanwhile, the Stuff-A-Cruiser event is set to take place on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
This event features local law enforcement volunteers and will take place at the following locations:

• Superstore 
• Walmart (Intercity location)
• Safeway (Arthur Street and Dawson Road locations)
• Metro (River Street and Arthur Street locations)
• Odena Foods in Kakabeka
