The executive director of the Thunder Bay Children’s Centre has been given a prestigious award.
Tom Walters has been named the winner of the 2011 Elizabeth Manson Award.
The award recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in the development of new treatment approaches, creative program design or providing superior quality care to children and families affected by mental health problems.
Walters received the award at a ceremony in Toronto earlier this week.
