Chill returning to USL 2 pitch in 2022

The 2008 Premier Development League champions will open on the road against FC Manitoba and at home against the defending champion Des Moines Menace.

THUNDER BAY – After two long years, the Thunder Bay Chill are set to make a return to the United Soccer League 2 pitch.

The Chill, who won it all in 2008, will stage their home opener on June 3 at Tbaytel Field at Chapples Park on Friday, June 3 against the defending champion Des Moines Menace.

The Chill will open their season on May 28 on the road in Winnipeg against FC Manitoba.

Thunder Bay were 6-6-2 in 2019, their last season in the USL 2, finishing in third place in the Heartland Division.  

The team’s full schedule is expected to be announced on Thursday.
