Chiodo murder suspect ordered released on bail

Marshall Hardy-Fox, who was charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping in connection with the murder of Lee Chiodo, has been ordered released on bail

THUNDER BAY - One of three men charged in the murder of 40-year-old Lee Chiodo early last year has been ordered released after a Superior Court judge set bail.

Marshall Hardy-Fox, 27, was ordered released on Tuesday and is required to meet certain bail conditions before he can be released from the Thunder Bay District Jail.

There is a publication ban in place on the details of the bail hearing.

Hardy-Fox turned himself in to police on March 4, 2019 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping.

David Hui, 47, and Musab Saboon, 27, were also arrested and charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping.

Chiodo’s body was found on Feb. 24, 2019 near 108th Avenue on Mission Island by a passerby. The death was ruled a homicide by Thunder Bay Police.

Saboon and Hui remain in custody with future court dates in December and January respectively.
