Citizens’ opinions to help shape public library services
A small group of people turned out to the Waverley Resource Library Thursday afternoon to take part in a community open house.
The event was a chance for the public to share their vision for the Thunder Bay Public Libraries. Their input will help shape the Library's strategic plan for 2013-2016.
Stations were set up around the room, where people could vote on things they like about the library and certain aspects they would like to see changed.
Chris Todd is a library user and he said he was pleased with everything the local public libraries offer. Todd has been actively using the library’s services for 60 years.
Another community session took place at Mary J.L Black Library later that same evening.
