THUNDER BAY – The City of Thunder Bay is excited to announce the movie lineup and new locations for this year’s Movie Nights in the Parks, where movies will be shown in different neighbourhoods each week throughout the city.

This year’s three-part series will be held Thursday, Aug. 19 at Kinsmen Youth Centre (Northwood), Thursday, Aug. 26 at West Thunder and Thursday, Sept. 2 at Balsam Park.

This year’s films are:
·Thursday, Aug. 19  –  Toy Story 4
·Thursday, Aug. 26 –  The Lion King (2019)
·Thursday, Sept. 2  – Trolls World Tour

Movies will begin after sunset, around 9 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring blankets, warm clothes, lawn chairs, snacks and beverages to enjoy the movie on the big screen.

Limited space is available for up to 100 attendees, so residents are encouraged to pre-register a spot at: http://cityofthunderbay.perfectmind.com. Complimentary popcorn will be provided to all event attendees. Movie Nights in the Parks are presented by Ontario Power Generation.
