City council ratified a new collective agreement between the city and specialized transit drivers Monday night.
The agreement, which starts Jan. 1 and runs until June 30, 2017, has 1.75 per cent wages each year and will make the nine full-time and 11 part-time Lift+ on par with other transit drivers by the end of the contract.
Amalgamated Transit Union Local 966 workers ratified the contract Oct. 22.
