City gets $599K from Gateway Casino

Quarterly payment brings city's total payments to $43.8 million over 18 years.

THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has handed a cheque worth $599,582, the quarterly share for housing Gateway Casinos Thunder Bay.

It brings the city’s gambling haul to $43.8 million since 2000.

The payments are made using an equitable formula through the municipality contribution agreement.
