Over a year after the resignation of Thunder Bay's former General Manager of Community Services, the vacancy has been filled.
The city on Monday announced the appointment of Kelly Robertson as the permanent replacement for Michael Smith.
Robertson is from Ottawa where she most recently served as Branch Manager of city-wide recreation programs.
City Manager Norm Gale says he looks forward "to her leadership in our Recreation and Facilities Master Plan, and all aspects of her diverse department."
Robertson assumes her new duties on February 21.
