THUNDER BAY -- The city is taking its respect campaign even further with a new internship.
Partially offset by the Northern Heritage Fund Corporation, the $47,932 to $54,468 temporary position will try and expand the city's respect initiative, which recently put up a decal at city hall to try and foster a positive experience between customer service staff and members of the public.
Originally launched in 2012, the city held a media conference last week to announce its intentions to expand the successful campaign.
The intern will also initiate best practices for welcoming approaches other cities may have.
The NOHFC's initiative was set up to get recent graduates employed in their field of study.
