City inflation rate for December fourth lowest in Canada

According to Statistics Canada, Thunder Bay had the fourth lowest rate of inflation among major urban centres in December. The city’s rate of inflation was two per cent in December, a dip from the 2.6 per cent recorded in November.

The national average inflation rate for December 2011 was 2.2 per cent.

Only Ottawa, Vancouver and Victoria had lower inflation rates than Thunder Bay in December.
