City limits access to Victoriaville, McKellar mall

Building will have restricted access, hours during pandemic.
Victoriaville Mall

THUNDER BAY – The city has decided to reduce hours and access to both Victoriaville Centre and McKellar Mall.

The two facilities moving forward, until the COVID-19 pandemic ends or physical distancing restrictions are eased, will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and will be closed on weekends and holidays.

Controlled access will also be in place.

The public will only be able to enter the building from the West McKellar mall entrance across the Renco Family Food in Centennial Square. Access will be restricted to essential workers and businesses within the mall and people with an appointment at one of those businesses.

Those making deliveries or pick-ups may also enter.

Tenants and building owners will continue to have access through the designated entrance for their operations, maintenance, inspections or other needs. They may also enter to pick up materials or supplies, whether or not they are deemed essential, in accordance with the provincial order.
