Thunder Bay Police Service Media Update
The TBPS Cyber Crime Unit began an investigation in August 2016 after identifying suspected child pornography videos appearing online.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed in the 500 block of Dawson Street on October 6, 2016.
Officers seized a computer, two laptops, four external hard drives, a cell phone, a SD card, six thumb drives and various DVD/CD's for further examination.
Denis Jude LAMONTAGNE, 58 years old was arrested and charged with Make Available Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.
He appeared in court today and has been remanded with a future court date.
