Thunder Bay's tourism division is partnering with Northeastern Minnesota and the National Geographic Society on a new Geo-tourism project.
The collaboration was announced in Duluth Wednesday.
The geo-tourism project will see the creation of an in-depth website and smartphone applications that aim to highlight the natural attractions in this region.
A similar announcement will be made in Thunder Bay on Friday.
