City of Thunder Bay media release follows:
November 10, 2015 – In honour of veterans, Thunder Bay Transit is will be providing free transit service to all veterans and military personnel in uniform and the family members accompanying them on Remembrance Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.
The free transit will apply to all conventional fixed route service and registrants of Lift+ specialized services. Thunder Bay Transit will observe Remembrance Day with two minutes of silence at
11 am.
Transit service will operate on regular weekday schedule. Thunder Bay Transit Offices will be closed and reopening Thursday, Nov. 12.
