THUNDER BAY – City-owned cemeteries are closed until further notice.

The city made the announcement on Thursday, saying they will close both the Mountain View and St. Patrick’s cemeteries, starting on Monday, until further notice, acting on the recommendations of the Ontario Association of Cemetery and Funeral Professionals.

The facilities will remain open for funeral services, but they must be private and limited to a maximum of 10 people, including clergy.
