THUNDER BAY – A 27-year-old man faces impaired driving charges after colliding with a snow bank early Sunday morning.
City police were called to the 500 block of McDonald Street shortly after 8:30 a.m. due to a single-vehicle collision.
When officers arrived they observed two men attempting to shovel out the vehicle.
The driver provided a breath sample and was informed he was under arrest for being impaired.
The man became combative with officers and was eventually handcuffed and escorted to the police station.
He was scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
