THUNDER BAY -- The city’s police service is set to hold its auction this week.
The Thunder Bay Police Service auction will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11 in the rear lot of the Balmoral Street police headquarters, at 1200 Balmoral Street. Bidding is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to wrap up at about 8 p.m.
Police say about 15 lot boxes of household items, including televisions, tools and other miscellaneous items will be up for auction. There will also be three piles of junk bikes that will be sold for parts, along with 80 bicycles of various models.
Each warranty is sold without warranty on an as-is-where-is basis.
All items must be removed immediately after the auction, and can be purchased with cash, Visa or approved cheques with identification.
