As city hall's push for a new multi-use centre continues, the public is getting a chance to weigh in on the issue.
The first of two city-sponsored open houses on the proposed multiplex is being held Wednesday evening at the DaVinci Centre.
City staff will explain the content of a recent report to council that outlined financial issues surrounding such a project. They will also be talking about potential models for the facility.
Administration has also indicated they want to use the public sessions as an opportunity to speak about the benefits associated with building such a complex.
Wednesday night’s sessions runs until 9 p.m. Another session is scheduled for Thursday evening at the Italian Cultural Centre.
