City under severe thunderstorm watch

Weather could roll in on Sunday afternoon and last through the evening.

THUNDER BAY – The City of Thunder Bay is under a severe thunderstorm watch.

According to Environment Canada, the watch means there is the possibility of winds up to 90 kilometres an hour, nickel to ping-pong ball-sized hail and heavy rainfall.

The storm, if it hits, would start on Sunday afternoon and last into the evening.
