THUNDER BAY – The city is looking for public input about the salaries paid to councillors and the mayor.

According to a survey posted on the City of Thunder Bay website, councillors currently make $27,000 a year, while the mayor’s salary is $80,000.

Both have remained stagnant since 2008.

The survey asks whether or not the salaries should change or not, and if respondents say yes, what they feel the compensation should be.
