The Clothing Assistance Mission is helping families get all they need for back to school.

Manager Deborah Palo says the program is bringing relief to parents that might not be able to afford school basics.

“Parents love the pricing, the low cost and the opportunity to have free supplies that they otherwise couldn’t afford to have,” Palo told CKPR Radio Thursday. “They are very happy and pleased.”

Palo says the mission is working with local agencies like Dilico Family Care and Children's Aid to determine those in need.

She added that the mission carries items like gym shoes, backpacks and clothes.

While donations have mostly kept up with demand, Palo said the mission’s stock of children’s running shoes is low.
