THUNDER BAY – Cocaine and fentanyl valued at more than $25,000, along with $3,000 in cash, were seized Thursday in an Algoma Street raid by Thunder Bay Police.

In a release issued on Friday, police say they executed a warrant at an apartment complex at about 6 p.m. and arrested three people.

A 53-year-old female, who was not named, faces two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, while a 40-year-old Brampton, Ont. man, David Wellesley Lynch, faces the same two charges as well as proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Thunder Bay’s Michael Dampier, 24, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The latter two suspects appeared on court and were remanded into custody. The female suspect was released on a promise to appear.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
