Cocaine, marijuana and cash found after pair of drug raid

THUNDER BAY -- A pair of drug raids led to the seizure of more than 100 grams of cocaine, some marijuana and cash. Officials with the the combined forces organized crime bureau say a pair of homes were searched on April 24.

THUNDER BAY -- A pair of drug raids led to the seizure of more than 100 grams of cocaine, some marijuana and cash.

Officials with the the combined forces organized crime bureau say a pair of homes were searched on April 24. Those two searches led police to 108 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of marijuana and more than $8,000 in Canadian cash.

Police say Dylan Lyons, 37, was arrested at an East Brock Street home. Police charged him with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The second search warrant, used to raid a Home avenue residence, led to the arrest of Dale McDonald, 45, Michael McDonald, 23 and Jennifer Boon, 28.

They have been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with conditions of undertaking.
Boon was also charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

None of the charges have been tested in court.
