THUNDER BAY — The City of Thunder Bay has announced the closure of a section of Mountain Road.
The road is shut down due to a collapsed culvert located near 975 Mountain Road.
Signs are posted at the 15th Side Road and on Chippewa Road.
Crews are working on repairs and are expected to finish the job by the end of the day Friday.
But the city says weather conditions and other factors may impact the work schedule.
In the meantime, access up to 976 Mountain Road is available from the north, while access up to 978 Mountain Road is available from the south.
Drivers are asked to obey the construction signs and use alternate routes to get around the work site.
