Confederation College is continuing its Northwestern Ontario expansion.
The College recently announced it will open new regional campuses in the new year in Red Lake and Wawa. The move is designed to meet growing demands for education and training and follows extensive consultation with the host communities.
Initial full-time course offering will include administration, construction techniques and mining techniques. Courses are set to begin Feb. 7.
The two new regional campuses join six other regional Confederation College locations already operating across the region.
