OLIVER PAIPOONGE, Ont. - A serious collision slowed traffic on Highway 17 just outside of Thunder Bay Sunday, sending at least one person to hospital with minor injuries.
The collision occurred between a passenger vehicle travelling on Twin City Crossroad and another travelling on the highway, said an Ontario Provincial Police officer at the scene late Sunday morning.
One person had been sent to hospital with possible whiplash, the officer said.
Both vehicles sustained serious damage, and were removed by tow truck from the scene, which was cleared just before noon.
