DRYDEN – A motor vehicle collision has led to impaired driving charges for one Dryden resident.
According to a Dryden Ontario Provincial Police release, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Friday, Dec. 3 around 10:10 a.m. on Highway 17 in Eton Township.
Officers attended the scene and conducted a mandatory alcohol screening test on the driver.
The driver failed and was taken to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old of Dryden has been charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while prohibited.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in court on Jan. 10, 2022 to answer to the charges
